v  Most Government departments & others are in the city center.

v  Shortage of public transportation outside the city.

v  Shortage of malls, parks, colleges etc outside the city.

v  Infrastructure outside the city.

v  Suggestions to motivate people to move outside the city.

Omar Al Shehhi said that government departments need to open outside the city center so the people can finish their work easily.

Omar Abdul Naser said that people need to use the public transportation to avoid the traffic jams by starting with government companies to force their staff to use it.

Mansoor Noor strongly agreed with this point since he is staying outside Abu Dhabi city & notices that we need more focus on the above requirements.

Ali Al Hammadi disagreed with this point by noticing most of the outside cities are fully completed cities.

Mr. Khaled Al Menhali said we need to move some government departments outside the city. Force, by adding new laws, large & medium departments to build offices next door to resident buildings.

The below negative and positive for our meeting.

Negative:

1.      The owners of the buildings in the down town city they will lose their income by reducing the number of the residents.

2.      The business will be less in the city center.

3.      The private company will start struggling in the beginning.

Positive:

1.      The city center will be organized and it will be easy to move around the city.

2.      Most of Abu Dhabi towns will be more developed overall.

3.       Government - provided services, like health + education, will be uniformly good in all of the urban areas of the UAE.
